Doctor of Optometry (O.D.)
Since December 2006, Dr. Staci Hamamoto has been the associate optometrist at Lifetime Optometric. She holds a degree from the University of California Berkeley, School of Optometry, graduating in the same year she joined the practice.
Originally from Fresno, Dr. Hamamoto attended Edison High School before earning a B.S. in biology from UC Santa Barbara. Prior to optometry school, she worked as a lab assistant at UCCE Kearney Agricultural Center in Parlier.
Dr. Hamamoto’s optometry education at Berkeley provided her with the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and eye conditions. She is fluent in Spanish and has volunteered for Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity, a non-profit organization that provides eye screenings internationally in Peru.
Outside of work, she enjoys volunteering as a camp counselor and is active in her religious organization. She also has a passion for TV, photography, hiking, and traveling.
